“My work concerns colour, form, layering
and texture. I am repeatedly drawn to similar images from different contexts; figures in a landscape, the curve of a pot, a crow dancing, the silhouette of a dog. In the studio, I work from these images, captured in my sketchbook and memory, to recreate the initial emotional response.”
