Carol Sinclair

Carol Sinclair is a sculptor whose work is a dialogue between the ‘found’ and the ‘made’.

She studied Fine Art at Cambridge School of Art and graduated in Fine Art from Central St. Martins School of Art in 1987 and has since exhibited in both private galleries and public spaces throughout Britain.

She scours streams, beaches and quarries seeking objects or fragments that have a natural beauty, be it in colour or form; weather-worn or water-eroded.

“There is often a great beauty in naturally eroded materials – they encapsulate the elusive concept of time and infinity.”

The work is quiet and contemplative.
