In 1955 Caroline attended the National College of Art in Dublin, then studied ceramics in Paris and attended the Sorbonne. In 1959 she started Crescent Ceramics in Dublin.
In 1962 Caroline changed direction - studying jewellery at the Central School of Arts and Crafts, London, winning a scholarship from the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths. From 1963 she worked in the experimental jewellery factory of Henry de Laszlos in Staines, before going freelance making first in London and then Dublin, where she raised her family.
Through the 80’s Caroline returned to ceramics exhibiting in Ireland, in 1995 showing at The Canyon Gallery, Santa Fe, New Mexico. In 1997 she started to make Bronzes which she has exhibited in Ireland, this being the first time in England – at The Stour Gallery.
Still living in Ireland with her family, her twin passion for art and wildlife reflected in her sculptures.
