Catherine Headley

Catherine Headley is inspired by the ancient and uncultivated lands of Ireland, Cornwall, the Isles of Skye and Lewis.
This group of small paintings reflect a residency at Cill Rialaig, West Cork, not the wild seas, but details of the landscape, working with a freedom of expression, drawing with her paintbrush and creating a personal visual interpretation of this remote place.

Headley’s work is regularly exhibited in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.
