The Irish paintings were in part inspired by a residency at Cill Rialaig on the west coast of Ireland. They represent the movement and rhythm of ever changing weather, swelling and breaking waves, the merging of spray with air, the intangible, but always a unique moment. Janette’s work is shown extensively in Britain including The Royal West of England Academy and is beginning to be seen in Ireland
